Our annual membership drive is underway! This year, for the first time in 20 years, we won’t be picking up the phones to ask you for your support. While we’ll miss checking in with you, I hope you’ll take the initiative to support our work.
The New England Federal Credit Union has generously offered a $5,000 matching grant and to get it, we need your help. For every new member that joins, they’ll match the gift dollar-for-dollar. You can join for whatever amount you choose.
For existing members, any amount you give above your previous gift will be matched. If you gave $25 last year and give $50 this year, NEFCU will give us $25. Take a moment and renew today, and give a little extra if you can.
The need for our work is growing. Each month, 100 people fill out applications for our rental apartments. Last year, more than 1,000 people took advantage of our education and counseling programs to repair their credit, avoid foreclosure, or prepare to buy their first home. The number of people who need CHT’s services is higher than ever, and it is only with community support that we are able to provide these programs to our neighbors.
