Volunteers Needed

28-Oct-2011

Imagine if you didn't have the security and stability that your home gives you. The Champlain Housing Trust provides that stability for 2,000 households who rent or own our affordable homes, and education and counseling to help many others improve their finances and reach their housing goals.

CHT needs volunteers the week of November 7 for our annual Community Campaign. Volunteers call existing and new supporters to raise donations and awareness of our work. Budget cuts have reduced federal funding for CHT's programs, so community support is even more vital to our mission.

The campaign runs Monday, Nov. 7 through Thursday, Nov. 10, 5:30 to 8:30 pm. We provide training, dinner donated by local restaurants, and great thank-you prizes donated by area businesses.

Schedule: Monday, Nov. 7 through Thursday, Nov. 10

Dinner & orientation, 5:30pm; calling, 6 to 8:30.

Location: 88 King Street, Burlington (between St. Paul and Pine St.).

Help CHT strengthen our community.
