Update on Cedar's Edge Apartments Damage

21-Dec-2011

Water damage caused by a cracked coupling in a fire suppression system has been evaluated throughout the day and at this hour we have communicated the situation and steps moving forward with most of the 58 residents (30 households) at Cedar's Edge. Our first priority is making sure all have a decent place to stay while we remedy the damage done to the building.

We are working towards allowing the residents of 18 non-water damaged apartments to move back in by Christmas Eve after new fire alarm and sprinkler systems have been installed, tested and inspected. These residents are being housed in hotels.

For the 12 households in water damaged apartments, we are working with them to find temporary housing as quickly as possible while we work to repair their apartments.

More updates will come as information becomes available.
