CHT to host national housing conference

The National Community Land Trust Network’s annual conference is coming to Burlington September 10 – 13, 2012 at the Hilton. Information about the conference, the Network and registration can be found at http://bit.ly/2012cltconf.

This year’s conference, titled “Transforming Communities Through Innovation and Collaboration,” will feature over 60 seminars, a keynote address by Dr. J Otis Smith, tours of Champlain Housing Trust properties, and a dinner cruise on Lake Champlain, as well as many other educational opportunities. The conference will be held at the Hilton on Burlington’s waterfront.

An estimated 350 people will attend, and this year will also include the first international track, with presenters from Honduras, Australia, England, Belgium and Puerto Rico.

The National Community Land Trust Network provides training, advocacy and resources for its member organizations which nurture and sustain healthy and economically diverse communities by providing permanently affordable access to land, homes, and related resources.
